Cambodia’s GDP has been growing rapidly at 10% CAGR over the past decade. Electricity infrastructure is also making significant progress, with cost declining nearly 20% over the past 10 years and capacity increasing 10+ times over the past 15 years. In addition, significant investments are being made in logistical infrastructure, including $1.9B in Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway and $150M in 38-road project in Siam Reap.
Cambodia also has a stable inflation rate, foreign exchange rate, and unemployment rate. These factors create a conducive environment for businesses in Cambodia, especially in terms of predictability.
~70% of total installed energy capacity in Cambodia are from renewable energy in 2019, and can be sustained or improved with the right government action. Furthermore, Cambodia has one of the lowest CO2 emissions among the ASEAN region.
